M5 / A419 Interchange Microsimulation, Gloucestershire

Microsimulation work supporting the promotion of B8 storage and distribution development near Haresfield, including consideration of traffic conditions around M5 Junction 12 and the A419 interchange.

• Built a Vissim microsimulation model and undertook calibration and validation work.
• Tested development-related traffic scenarios and examined their implications for network operation.
• Prepared a technical report presenting model findings and recommendations for the wider project team.
